    WHY DON'T YOU CALL THE EASTERN PARKWAY THE" BEN LITTLE/ GENE ROBINSON PARKWAY" OPPOSITE ENDS THAT NEVER SEEM TO GET TOGETHER AND FINISH.

    Geeeeeez it's so freakin easy and simple. With the history of our fort it should have some type of military name. Without the fort moving the parkway would never be there. I guess the mayor and councilmen are to busy out there trying to get lawsuits and fights against each other to think level headed.

    ha ha ha! I don't think it matters what they call it. For most of the people here, we'll probably just call it the bypass.

    The Parkway should be "Soldiers Parkway" with an "s" , not just plain Soldier, for all soldiers who have served here. You don't offer this option.

    there is stuff named after Martin Luther King all across the South. Name the road something else. Obama won't be coming to Anniston, why name something after him? Choose a natural name. Calhoun County at one time was Benton county. Thomas Benton Parkway? Iron Mt. Parkway? Liberty Parkway? Golden Springs Parkway? Model City Parkway? Something simple please...

    What about McClellan Parkway since it comes through the old Fort McClellan property.. Or I like leaving it like it has been called the Eastern Parkway.. If it ain't broke..don't fix it.. Don't name it after Ben Little cause if he didn't think about it, it wouldn't be right anyway...

    The only name that fits is "US 431". Completing this road makes it possible to go north and south while avoiding passing through the dysfunctional town of Anniston Alabama. That alone is enough so far as I am concerned.
